Scattered Comics Studios recently approached the Moto Angels Foundation’s Tim Montauge on doing a project for the foundation; together they came up with the concept of drawing a comic book panel inside the 2010 Moto Angels Calendar that would not only inform people of the foundation’s work but do it in a fun and entertaining way.

Based out of Chicago, TMAF’s primary objectives are to provide assistance to the families of fallen riders through their Fallen-Rider Fund and to help individuals, families and communities though our General Rider Fund.

TMAF’s secondary objectives, beyond simply being philanthropic and helping people, is to raise awareness for safe and responsible motorcycling activities, events and causes, and to raise awareness and financial capitol through fundraisers, corporate sponsorships and donation acceptance.

About The Fallen Rider Fund

The purpose of The Fallen-Rider Fund is to provide assistance and support to the families that have lost a primary caregiver in a motorcycle related fatality. Every year there are countless motorcycle related fatalities that shatter the lives of families and children. For each and every fallen brother and sister on the road, our hearts go out to their families, and our Fallen-Rider Fund is set up to provide assistance to them in their difficult and painful time of transistion.

General Rider Fund

The purpose behind the General Rider Fund is to be available to provide assistance to those in need, beyond just that of fallen-riders. If you’ve even heard of Random1 Random1.org their vision has helped to shape Moto Angels, but the underlying premise is to identify opportunities to provide assistance to riders in need and initiate the process of facilitation between those in need and those in a position to provide assistance.

The comic page illustrates just some of the good work that Moto Angel provides through their foundation to those riders that need assistance

The art work was done by Scattered Comics Studios owner and artist Jason Dube, who’s unique drawing style brings the story to life to help convey the story that depicts the helpful services that Moto Angels provides.

To compliment Jason Dube’s artwork, colorist Sean Salazar provided the vivid color to the page that again brings the story to life, and to help bring the panels together, Jeff Hughes was contributing writer to the story along with Moto Angels Foundation’s Tim Montague.

The page also features one of the Moto Angel’s models Amber Snedden throughout the page to help give the story even more of a realistic feel to the story.

Fans of Jason Dube’s art work and those that are fans of motorcycles will enjoy this calendar with proceeds going towards the Moto Angels’s Foundation.

- “Working on the MOTO ANGELS calendar comic was not only a great opportunity. It has truly been a honor and privilege for me to be a part of something so that gives back so much to the community.”

- Jason Dube
