Comic Book Divas Publishing along with Scattered Comics Studios artist Josh Barker has begun work on our first horror comic “Kaci Hansen

Presents”,  we hope this will have reader’s hungry for more since we are enjoying working on this title so much.

“Kaci Hansen Presents” begins the series with “Kaci Hansen Presents…Hello Dollies” .

The comic tells the tale about four female college students that head to Mexico and to the “Island Of The Dolls” to do a documentary about the legend of a ghost girl and the dolls that are said to haunt the island at night.

This story came to writer Jeff Hughes as he watched the TV show “Destination Truth” about the “Island Of The Dolls”,

“After watching the show I thought “Wow, this a bit twisted, I like it!”

After speaking with Jason Dube owner and Art Director of Scattered Comics Studios, about the concept, the comic was under way; but two things were missing the first was an artist, this was quickly solved by Jason Dube.

Jason  recommended Josh Barker who’s art work I already knew from the Scattered Comics Studios website and thought Josh’s work was a perfect fit for this comic book and as you can see we feel you will agree with the choice we made.

The other piece of the puzzle was the need for a hostess or narrator and Comic Book Divas was lucky enough to find Kaci Hansen while looking at the Sacramento Horror Show website, we contacted Kaci and she was nice enough to come aboard.

For those that do not know about Kaci Hansen, she is a horror diva and spooksmodel that can be seen in independent horror movies and was one of the top 13 finalists in the Fangoria “You want to be a Spooksmodel” Contest.

In addition to the great art work of Josh Barker and Kaci Hansen agreeing to be our hostess of the comic book, we also recruited four of our beautiful Comic Book Divas models to be in the comic book, Amber Sneeden, Heather G, Kara Cagle, and Raelynn Blaha who will be featured as our college students.

We wanted to give a sneak peek of a couple of pages of the story to not only show the outstanding art work of Josh Barker but to also give you a peek at what readers are in store for in “Kaci Hansen Presents”
