Well wait no more! “Goldilocks In Zombie Land” has finally launched at http://comicbookdivas.com/goldilocksinzombieland starting with the first three pages.

Jason Dube is hard at work on this already talked about web series; fans of Jason’s will see his unique art style that melds his normally cute and cuddly artwork with the twisted and bizarre horror genre and combination that will give readers a nervous belly laugh.

Each month a new page will be released as visitor’s will read the ongoing battle of Goldilocks and her zombie hunters to fight hordes of the undead and hopefully find a cure for the zombie plague spreading throughout STORYBOOK 2012.

The web comic features some of the leading women in the independent horror industry including Scarlet Salem as Goldilocks, Bianca Barnett as Bo Peep, Tara Cardinal as Jacquelin, Joe Knetter as The Woodsman, Dai Green as Queen Rapunzel, and Michelle Fatale as Mary Lamb, and Asa Hope as Dingy; in addition the web comic is full of cameos by Deneen Melody, Reyna Young, Richard Anderson,  Brooke Lewis, Kayla Perkins, Brandon Slagle, Richard Zerga, Cari Morbid.. and more.

Comic Book Divas and the artists of Scattered Comics Studios have been hard at work to bring some exciting exclusives to this year’s SAC Horror Convention.

Q: How long have you been working with Jason Dube and Scattered Comics?

A: I’ve been working quite a long time. Probably about… 5 to 7 months… Hard to debate. I don’t keep track of time well…

Q: How long have been working as a professional artist?

A: WOW. PERFESSIONAL? I would hardly call myself that. In fact, this is my first job. But I’ve been drawing since I could hold a pencil. At 3rd grade, I convinced myself I would be an artist.

Q: This series “COMICS VS MANGA” is about comic book and manga artists trying to make their dreams of publishing their own books come true. Are there any tips you learned being an artist you’d like to share with other artists out there that might help them?

A: Always take any criticism you get. Experiment with all kinds of styles and try new ways o make art. Take classes; no matter how good you think you are, there’s always something new to learn. And never give up!!

Q: What do you like about working on the “Comics Vs Manga” web comic?

A: I like seeing my line work become colored and published. Also the entire process of making a new character. It’s always interesting to draw out the small details of something that really helps define the character.

Q: Any thoughts on what you’d like to see happen with this web comic, or storyline?

A: I want to see Vampi, Tina, Kites, and Max have a confusing love-square-triangle thing. Those were my favorite characters to create, so I really am interested in what will happen to them.

Q: Who is your favorite character from the series to draw?

A: KITES. HE IS SO ADORABLE. I love little people. Especially when they’re cute boys. I think it’s awesome how he tries to be suave even though he’s so short.

Q: If you had to pick a character you most identify with, who would it be?

A: UHHH… Probably Natsumi. She’s over selfconfident, in love with herself, and adores having fans. But I’m not evil or controlling like her… I guess I could relate myself to a lot of characters though. But Natsumi ranks at number one.

Q: What would you do as this charcter if you were stuck in this club full of crazy artist characters like this series?

A: WELL… I would probably flaunt my artwork around after I got comfortable. I would really be like Natasha at first; I’m really shy and humble around other great artists.

Q: What do you prefer drawing when you’re not drawing this series?

A: I have a variety of other comics I’m working on. So in my free time I draw the layouts for the comic and rewrite plotlines.

Q: Any last words, comments, worries, shout outs, sage advice you’d like to leave us with?

A: Shout out to Erika and Sammy! Um… COMIC CLUB, YOURE THE BOMB! And… I prefer Coke to Pepsi. Open Happiness!

“Panda Days”: Introduces Panda, the name of a sweet and adorable girl who has two problems; she is constantly being attacked by random ninjas; the other problem is nobody can see them but her. This light-hearted comedy is loved by kids, but treasured by teens.

“Scattered”: A dark supernatural comic about 4 teenage strangers who are thrown together to explore the spirit world.  Combining elements of different religions, cultures, and teenage angst weaved together into a dramatic epic.

Q:  How long have you been working with Jason Dube and Scattered Comics?

YOLA:  Ohhhh, only about 3 weeks or so. I really enjoy working with Jason and his story so much I get too excited and get to work instantly and won’t top until it’s done. It’s been 3 very sleepless weeks.

Q:  How long have been working as a professional artist?

YOLA: I wouldn’t call myself a ‘professional artist. I haven’t quite got my work out yet and I am young and have a lot to learn and a lot of work to do before I may call myself that. As an artist though I have been drawing since the second grade and become serious about my art over the last few years. I have taken art and computer classes to improve myself and my art and hope to get out into the professional world within the next year or so.

Q: Are you a fan of the original comic book series Panda Days?

YOLA: Heck yes. When I first got the comic I would go through it over and over again. The characters are so cute and the art style is so original. I haven’t seen anything like it so far.

Q: What do you like about working on the Panda Days web comic?

YOLA: It’s really fun and less stressful to draw an entirely chibi web comic. I get excited when I get the new script; it makes me smile and laugh. I start sketching what the page looks like in my head immediately. And on a good week I get the page done in about 3 days. It inspires me to get started on my own ideas as well.

Q:  Any thoughts on what you’d like to see happen with this web comic, or storyline?

YOLA: I can’t really think of anything. I just enjoy getting the humorous script and drawing the cute characters. I guess I hope to see more funny and more cute!

Q: Who is your favorite character from the series to draw?

YOLA: Definitely Panda. Panda is just the cutest with her long blond hair and her messed up jeans. I’m just a sucker for the tough girl.

Q: If you had to pick a character you most identify with, who would it be?

YOLA: I am not sure who I might identity with, but I have a pet bunny named Panda who definitely matches Jason’s Panda chick. So cute and such a little toughie.

Q: What do you prefer drawing when you’re not drawing the cute Panda Days universe?

YOLA: Well I do love drawing my style of chibis but when drawing my regular anime-style I have recently opted to draw characters from a series I have been working on with someone called ‘Forget my Name’, characters from a role playing game I am currently in, or just myself and my friends, or what they ask me to draw.

Q: If you were tormented by random ninjas that only you could see, what would you do?

YOLA: Well since only I can see them I would befriend them then get them to do my bidding. It sounds evil but it’s more like help me with my work, get me the answers on tests, torment or play pranks on people, and exact my revenge whilst I always get away with it cause only I can see them. So it’s more like the diet coke of evil.

Q: Any last words, comments, worries, shout outs, sage advice you’d like to leave us with?

YOLA: Uhhhhh … be nice to Canadians.
